Hi my excel workbook is corrupt and will not allow me to save any changes I make to it.. Is there a way to fix this? I am not a computer geek and I don’t know much about how excel works. I use a program my husband created and worked fine. However, It seems when it gets to a certain size it becomes corrupt. I can add data but when I go to save it I get a ‘not enough memory’ message and then a ‘file not saved’ message. I hope there is a solution to this problem. I should also mention that the program uses’ Indirect’ in a lot of the formulas. But as I mentioned it was working fine until the other day. We have heard that indirect is evil! So my husband has been changing the formulas and moving data to another workbook. It saves fine until we close the program. When we reopen it gives us the error message ‘not enough memory’ and ‘document not saved’.
Excel for Mac (16.12) doesn’t seem to have the dropdown you’re mentioning? Could you post a screen shot or let me know if your notes don’t attach to that version?
